AD-44/E-HH-500: wideband antenna for handheld or manpack radio (L = 500 mm; 225 - 512 MHz; TNC male)
The handheld UHF antenna AD-44/E-HH-500 is a specially designed UHF monopole whip, primarily intended for use with portable and handheld radio stations in UHF frequency range from 225 to 512 MHz.
The antenna is end-fed halfwave monopole whip with capacitive loading on the radiator and the impedance matching unit above the antenna connector. The antenna is optimized for all exploitation conditions (radio in hand, at the side, at the breast etc.) so it is not necessary to additionally tune the antenna. The specially ruggedized radiating part is made of special wounded wire and protected with heat shrinkable sleeve. Impedance matching transformer is embedded into a durable plastic jacket.
