AD-2/C-10-R: Rigid transceiving self- supporting HF monopole of 10 m height (tip deflection 1.25m @ wind speed 200 km/h)

The Antenna AD-2/C-10-R is a mechanically very strong and rigid version of a self-supporting HF monopole designed for transceiving with minimal tip deflection at very high wind speeds without requiring any rope guying. 

It consists of two sections that are connected by screw joints, which are secured against loosening with a protective cross-screw unit. The antenna features a side-mounted connector housed in a waterproof casing along with a lead-in unit. The connector is a screw type equipped with an M8 nut. 

Both sections of the antenna are made from epoxy-glass composite material, while the screw joints are crafted from stainless steel, making the antenna lightweight and highly resistant to all weather conditions. The flange of the antenna is also made of stainless steel. 

The AD-2/C-10-R antenna is primarily intended for use on various types of ships and oil rigs, but it can also be used for stationary applications on ground-based structures. In such cases, a special wire ground plane must be ordered.

The antenna base and radiator are painted with grey (RAL 7001) two-component UV resistant paint.
