AD-44/E-HS-CF-TNC: light center-fed antenna with TNC connector (225 - 512 MHz) for installation on portable radios or vest kit
The handheld radio antenna AD-44/E-HS-CF-TNC is a wideband center-fed whip antenna, primarily intended for use with handheld or manpack radios VHF/UHF frequency range from 225 to 512 MHz. A center-fed design makes the antenna insensitive to the shape and dimensions of the radio unit.
The antenna is composed of radiating part made of bi-directional bendable blade radiator and covered with a plastic tube ensuring high flexibility and roughness. The antenna has built-in a special microstrip transformer matching network enclosed in fiberglass housing above the antenna goose-neck enable vertical position of the antenna regardless of the position of the radio.
